You listen to an audio dictation read at a fixed speed and type exactly what you hear. It is the same format as the stenographer skill test, so it is the most direct way to prepare.

Open a dictation from the catalog, choose your exam duration on the detail page, and press Start. You need to be logged in, and some dictations need an active plan.

Dictations are grouped by speed in WPM, including 80, 100 and 120 WPM. Use the filters on the catalog to find the speed and category you want.
